Brief 11: YCN Topdeck - Website Design Development

Since I had done the wireframing, I started to add the branding. I already knew what colours I would be using and how, since I had already designed the app.

Brochure

This is the brochure page, and I added all of the imagery in of their rebranded brochures as well as the splash of colour.

I again added colour and imagery here which brings it to life more

I think the accents of yellow work well with the imagery as it doesn't overpower them with it being used in small amounts

I added the latest imagery from their social media as well

I made the map on the filter the same as the one on the app to keep it consistent. I think the filter works really well with a bit of colour

I also did a couple of variations of the map and what was written in the search form for different stages of the process

I then started creating the search results page. I wanted the most relevant info on here in a brief, digestible manner they can scan through.

I started adding more info

I added dates in so people could see when the trips are available throughout the year

I swapped the days and start/end point around which worked better in terms of hierarchy since start/end point being longer looks and reads better at the beginning

I started finding relevant images for the trips I was using

I halved the image and had space for a map as well so people can see both

I started adding more now I have done one, and added a seperater between them to keep it clean

I got all of the content down for this, I just needed to do the map for each trip now

I started doing all of the individual maps relevant to each trip I picked

I then started working on the trip result page. I wanted it to be consistent with the search results content so users could make the connection between the layout, and fit in with the rest of the site too.
