Brief 4: Sun & Moon - Client Decisions

I presented the tag and logo boards to the client.

Firstly, the client decided which logos she didn't like, and I faded those ones so she could concentrate on the remaining designs. Although they liked a couple of them, they decided that the bottom right logo is the one that they want to go with.

I also showed her the progress on the pattern so far.

She likes all of the pastel colours used, and prefers the circle patterns

Feedback

  • Could use the sun/moon icon as the pattern
  • Likes the orange colour the most
  • Like the idea of a repeating, colourful pattern
  • Pink/Purple combo looks too similar to Jack Will's colour scheme
  • Pattern should be colourful and fill lots of space rather than too much white space

Tag
I explained that I could try lasercutting the tag design into lino first and creating the stamp myself, but the text might be too small to do that. In which case, we have two options:
  • Buy brown stock, digitally print onto them and cut them to tag size
  • Screenprint onto the existing pre cut tags that the client wants to use

First I will experiment with lino and lasercutting to see how that goes.
