Brief 4: Sun & Moon - Moodboard

Logo Variation
The client wanted me to produce a big range of logos that they could choose from as they didn't know what style they wanted. I declined and instead suggested that I make a moodboard of different styles that I think they would like based on what they have told me so they choose an aesthetic from that.

Time Saving
This will save me a lot of time producing a range of logos that won't be used, as well as give them an opportunity to see what is already out there and a range of styles that they might not have thought were possible before.

Numiko
When I was at Numiko, I had to make moodboards for a client as they were in the same situation - they wanted a DIY feel, but wasn't entirely sure what direction. So we created moodboards of different things to see what they liked - it was a quick, effective solution.

Moodboard
Here is the moodboard that I've created. I made sure to include a range of patterns and illustration styles so that the client can tell me what they like and what they don't like. That will make it easier for me when I go to the concept/design process. I made sure to pick things that feel DIY and hand rendered, even though I have chosen different styles like clean and textured. I also added a few colour swatches as I know that they wanted a lot of colour  but was undecided on what - so maybe this will give them a better idea of what they could have.
