Brief 3: Adopt an Animal - Site Map

Site Map
I need to think what I want to include on the website before I start to design it and gather the content. I decided to come up with a mindmap to think about what pages/content I need to include.

Primates
I wanted facts about each of the primates that I've chosen for the website/package/social media assets.

They should include
  • Habitat
  • Population
  • Threat
  • Size
  • Random facts
Timeline
I need content which would go on the timeline so users can see what is being done, and where their money is going. Almost like a social media timeline, people can keep checking back to see what has been going on which is less intrusive and spam like getting an email everytime something changes. It feels more real and like the user is getting involved. I feel like it would be a good option to have a filter option as well.

This will include things like
  • New petitions
  • Photos from rangers
  • Victories
  • Conservation projects
  • Infographic monitoring population
  • Blog articles
  • Nature reserve news
  • Social media assets?
  • SHAREABLE content
Donate/Adopt
This page should show the user the options for donating or adopting, and the packages that the user can buy. I also think it would be a good idea for the gift cards to be on this page.

About/Contact
There should also be smaller links available to the user about the company and a way to contact them and visit their social media.
