Brief 3: Adopt an Animal - Animal Focus

I'm going to think about which animals should be the focus of the website and brand. I am debating whether to choose between popular endangered animals and animals from a specific area, such as the borneo/sumatra rain forest.

Borneo/Sumatra

• Allows me to focus on something specific
• Makes it different from WWF
• I can look at the area as well and how to conserve it
• It limits the amount of animals I can include
• I wanted to include animals such as whales/polar bears which I can't due with this option

Popular Endangered Animals

• There will be something for everyone due to the range
• Allows me to create different illustrations/colour schemes for different animals
• Might be too similar to other adopt an animal websites
• Could categorise into sea/safari/jungle animals

I've decided to go with popular endangered animals based on this and looking at existing websites. I think this allows me to be more creative, and would be more popular with people due to a bigger range of animals users can select from.
