Brief 10: Peter & Paul - Visual Research

Me and Sarah both started to look at type to see what kind of materials and styles could be used. We thought it would be really good to have a 3D typographic design so began looking at that.

Industrial
Since the space in the area is very modernist in the sense all the materials are exposed and it looks very industrial, we looked for type and materials that reflect this. We thought that it would go well with the environment.

Neon
There are neon lights in the area as well, and we thought it would be cool to have neon lighting in the space to go with this and match the industrial feel. However, we knew that this would be really expensive so we decided against it. We did decide however, to have vinyl stickers on the wall made from neon pink and blue vinyl to match the neon feel.

Typography
We looked at both script and sans serif styles to see what we thought would work best in the space. We felt both looked good, but script would be good to have so that it stands out a lot and reflects different work that the course does.
